We are the Western North Carolina Sportsmans Club
We are a group of like minded sportsmen dedicated to Hunting, Fishing, Shooting, and Archers in Western North Carolina to work with proper authority to change Obsolete Laws and Regulations deleted, or updated, and new Laws and Regulations in place.
We meet once a month in Bethel at the:
Juke Box Junction Resturant, at 6:30 P.M. on the First Monday of each month. Directions to Juke Box: highway 110 to red light at junction of 110 and 276, turn right across bridge and then left. From Waynesville, 276 to Bethel, Juke Box is on Right before bridge and light. Come Join with us.

Announcement: Youth Shooting Team

The WNCSC is sponsoring a Youth Shooting Team, this team will use the Co2 Air Rifles, also a youth Archery Team. The team's will be made up of youth from Ages 8 to 18. At this time we are soliciting Sponsors for Eight (8) Shooters. More will be added as we grow.
Youth from Haywood County is Eligible for membership on the Team. There will be no try outs as we will be holding a Gun Safety Course before any practice starts. Any one interested: email admin@wncsportsmansclub.com

News: Wayne Smith Rifle Range is Open!

The Wayne Smith Rifle Range is now Open! Currently, this is the only firearm range owned and operated by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. As such, their rules and regulations apply and these can be found in their annual Regulations Digest at http://www.ncwildlife.org.
We have pictures of the range online. The range has a shooting distance of up to 100 yards. It has 5 shooting benches, left or right handed, and are Handicap Accessible. For directions, and a list of the Rules and Regulations for the range, click on "Read More" below.
